70g dried pasta
3-4 florets of cauliflower
2 tsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour
1/2 cup milk
25g grated cheese
Black pepper to taste
Method
-Cook the pasta according to packet instructions
-Grate or roughly chop the cauliflower
-Melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat before adding the cauliflower and frying for a couple of minutes
-Sprinkle in the flour and stir to coat all the cauliflower
-Slowly add the milk, whisking as you go
-Once all the milk has been whisked in, sprinkle in the cheese and stir until melted
-Keep stirring the sauce for a couple of minutes as it thickens, then season with some cracked black pepper to finish
-Pour the creamy sauce over the cooked pasta and enjoy!
